One of STADA's core business areas is the production and sale of inexpensive medicines known as generics. But what does this term actually mean? Generics are pharmaceutical products that contain the exact active pharmaceutical ingredient as the original patented product of the initial supplier version of the same medicine. Despite their high quality, generics are substantially typically much cheaper, because the expensive research needed to discover new medicines has already been completed. Generic medicines are available to treat a wide range of illnesses, such as heart problems, psychological disorders, cancer, metabolic diseases and many others.
